Miranda Smith Homecare was the first independently owned private homecare agency established in New Zealand. We continue to work closely with our clients and their families to provide exceptional support in each person's private home. We have a history of providing excellent care to our clients and excellent support to our valued Caregivers.
Our clients have made the decision to remain in their own homes with the support of committed and loyal carers and we are now looking to grow our team of carers in the Christchurch area. We have shifts available all days of the week, days, evenings and overnights with all shifts being 3 hours or longer. So you tell us what you are looking for and we will find the right match for you!
We are looking for carers who are truly invested in the clients they will be supporting. We would love to hear from you if you have had experience with the following:
- Home help - which may involve housework, laundry and meal preparation
- Personal care assistance – showering, dressing and grooming
- Companionship e.g.: taking our clients on walks, outings, to appointments and home-based activities
Ideal Candidate must have:
- Recent caregiving/healthcare experience preferred
- A clean full NZ Driver’s License and your own car
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work legally in New Zealand
- A clear background and criminal check.
