We are committed to growing our team of caregivers at Miranda Smith Homecare and are looking for those with experience and/or practical life skills to join our team! We pride ourselves on the exceptional in-home care we provide to our clients and we now have a need for more carers in Levin and surrounding suburbs. In this role, you have the ability to make a meaningful impact on others through the quality care you provide and we continue to offer opportunities for training and career advancement for you.
We have a new opportunity to provide care to clients based in Levin, providing support to them in their daily living. This is a lovely weekday role, providing companionship, personal cares, meal preparation and some home-help support. We are looking for carers who are flexible, available for long daytime shifts.
We have a dedicated office team providing support and guidance to our caregivers. We have a registered nurse on the team to support you in your role and an after hours coordination team to ensure you have the support you need should you work weekends and nights.
We would love to hear from you if you have had experience with the following:
- Companionship and home-help, which may include light house work
- Meal preparation
- Personal Cares; to include showering, dressing, grooming
- Dementia care
- Palliative care
Ideal Candidate must have:
- Recent care giving/healthcare preferred
- A clean full NZ Driver's License and a car;
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work legally in New Zealand.
- A clear background and criminal check.
